Hi, my name is Ted and I'm the owner of the Winslow Insurance agency. I started in the industry back in 1996. I am native to Colorado and have remained in the Denver Metro area.
My licensing includes Property and Casualty, Health, Life, and I currently hold my series 6. I earned my LUTCF designation in 2005 and served as Chair on for the National Association for Insurance and Financial Advisors committee for the Centennial branch here in Colorado.
My background includes the U.S. Marines, Firefighter and I was a graduate from the University of Colorado in Denver.
I started in the industry in hopes of understanding how my basic insurance coverage actually worked on my policy. I too had no idea what BI/PD meant and what those numbers were that we needed that are mandated by the state. How does life insurance really work and what does it really protect. What does a fire policy cover and what are the most common endorsements we may need that are NOT in your basic policy.
I figured I defiantly couldn't be the only one so I started this agency to help others understand what they may really need. I dedicated myself to helping those who include the first time auto policy buyer, to those who are planning to raise a family, to the empty nesters who are looking forward or going into retirement.
